This exhibition showcases recent works by artists Hiroshi Senju and Bingyi, offering hypnotic visualisations of water. Both artists explore water’s dual nature—both life-giving and destructive. Using traditional materials with contemporary techniques, Senju creates idealised waterfalls, whilst Bingyi channels raw nature and Chinese philosophy in her large-scale ink paintings. The exhibition highlights the museum’s dedication to contemporary Asian art and provides insight into the artists’ creative processes. It is an unique opportunity to see how these two internationally recognised artists reimagine their cultural traditions
