English translated anthology of selected Japanese writings and artists’ statements dating from 1945, a glossary and extensive bibliography are included. This publication was published on the occasion of a touring exhibition at Yokohama Museum of Art, Guggenheim Museum, New York, and San Francisco Museum of Modern Art from year 1994 to 1995.
